over the next couple days You'll be seeing something of a cleaning house in my gallery. This is, in part, the the events of earlier today (i refer you to the previous journal).
I don't know, part of me is still stunned at finding that photograph posted up like that. I'm hurt by it, the lack of common decency shown, but most of all i'm pissed too.

I like my photography and i enjoy doing it.I post the pieces on here for others to enjoy. But in doing this I did not allow the CCliscencing agreement on anything i've uploaded. The CC liscencing is what allows anyone to basically take your stuff and use it at their will or desires. Deviant Art allows this but ONLY if you click a buttom. None of my pieces have this button allowed. I feel that, as the work's creator/ owner/ copyright holder it is in my own interest alone in how my work is distributed and used. i have no issues with people using my work on sites like that as long as they do two things:
1) contact me to make sure it's cool with me.
2) Credit me proper.

the sight did neither thing. Yeah they credit me and provided a hyperlink back here to my website- but the hyper link is labeled Gh0stM1ck. My name is Sean Ross or Sean C. Ross. Not Gh0stM1ck. its an internet handle. When I'm a published novelist it will not read 'Deathcahrmer's Daughter: a novel by Metal4666 (my XBL name)

So begining tonight and over the next few weeks I'll be removing various pieces from my gallery. The first batch I removed are my writings because if anything were to be reprinted there'd be less chance of me sucessfully fighting that.
over the weekend I'll beging pulling the photos of the children in my gallery, namely Timmy and Abby my niece and nephew as well as my cousins. People can do wahtever they want with photos of me, but if I find any of the children in my family then...yeah. i dont think i need to explain what my reaction will be.


I go to you guys for a creative outlet and get feedback on things photography. Same goes for the updates on the Deathcharmer's Daughter, the novel I'm plotting and researching. I also have come to consider many of you my friends and know you like my stuff (or else ya'll wouldn't be watching/looking at me). So if you faved or commented or whatever with the ones I'm removing I'm deeply sorry.

I thank Beedwagon, Coopnkai and Rachel for responding and giving me some advice on the issue. I have contacted the group but have yet to recieve a response. I'll keep yous posted. though i find it interesting that the majority of their website is comprised of photos from FLickr, photobucket and myspace.
