dunno what to title this bloody thing.

Mon Sep 21, 2009, 6:24 AM
I'm not sure there's going to be much of a point to this blog other than it's me killing time becasue of how bored I am. So heads up if you're expecting some kind of life altering experience, cause you ain't getting.

So right now I'm sitting in my 'office' (file room with a desk and computer) and running down addresses on google and updating iles. basically I open files and make sure people and companies still exist. It's actually much more interesting that it sounds. As I do with everyting in life I'm finding out interesting things about people and companies that may actually help me in the world. doubtful. but maybe. When i'm finished updating these files I'm going to be able to work on the novel.

Rammstein is helping me out alot in focusing and stuff. i've been listening to alot of Rammstein lately.

In the last week or so I've been pretty hardcore about getting the novel at least fully outlined so i can write it. As you may have read in the last journal I'm trying build a villain for them to face with. I have one fully (for the most part) fleshed out and ready to rock. Honestly, outside of Emma Docherty and a couple others Dr. Bluth (shortened from Kornbluth, Eugene Levy's crazy scientist in Splash) is really the only fully fleshed person (meaning i know who, what, where why etc. of him). As some of you may know in the novel I have this other reality called Daelin. Now Bluth is an expert on the nature of the realities based on records and legends from both worlds. According to this character Earth and Daelin have grown and developed around the same time. In certain points through out the planet there are overlaps in the two realities that allow things to pass through between world. This accounts for the sightings of various 'cryptids' that have been reported throughout history (Bigfoot, Loch Ness, Chupachabra, mermaids etc.) and also why there not as abundant here as Squirrel or trout (they simply have gone back home). He also feels many of the missing person cases from both worlds are simply people who've crossed from one place into the other and either stayed on their own or had gotten lost and unable to return.

so that's where the novel is kind of right now. Basically that whole thing i just described will be a factor in much of my books or stories, even the ones not directly related to Emma's adventures. anywhom, i should get back to work on these file updates.

i like how you connecting all the mysteries of this world to Daelin! Cos that means you have freedom to bring in any of those creatures throughout the novel

HA! I'm glad you caught onto that, Rach. That's my overall plan actually. remember a while ago when I asked you and a bunch of others about different folklore and legend monsters from their various places?
My idea was to create some different variations on them and implement them throughout my universe in some fashion. and, of course, i'm still searching the papers and internet for new sightings of these creatures.so imagine my enjoyment the other night when I came across this beauty in Panama: [link]
